London mayor who criticized Romney might want to apologize

Mitt Romney came under fire last month after an honest critique of the country’s preparations for the Olympic Games. In response, London Mayor Boris Johnson criticized Romney before a crowd ahead of the games. “There’s a guy called Mitt Romney who wants to know whether we are ready!” he shouted with sarcasm.

Well, perhaps Johnson would like to walk back his criticism after he was hung out to dry on a zipwire ride went bad. During an event in London’s Victoria Park, the mayor got stuck halfway down a zip wire and had to be pulled the rest of the way by teams on the ground.

“Get me a rope! Get me a ladder!” the mayor shouted after braving the zip wire’s inaugural run.
