Justice Ginsburg cracked her ribs days before health care ruling

Those old people who fall at home and break a hip– Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is one of them, except it was her ribs. She cracked two when she fell at home in June.

“At first I thought it was nothing,” Ginsburg told Reuters. She said the accident occurred at the start of the month, which was in the heat of the health care hearings. “[I]t was the worst possible time.”

Ginsburg, 79, was able to fulfill all her Supreme Court obligations despite the injury, and has since fully recovered.

That’s pretty crazy.
